6th September

The first of our Bible verses is from Psalms 84 and verse 11.  You will recognise it as our moto for the year:

For the Lord God is our light and protector.
He gives us grace and glory.
No good thing will the Lord withhold from those who do what is right.

From the New Testament Romans 12 verses 4 & 5.  A reminder that even though we are not meeting at church we are still part of the body of Christ.

For just as each of us has one body with many members and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each members belongs to all the others.

9th August

Our Bible verses for this week.

God’s voice thunders in marvellous ways; He does great things beyond our understanding.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air, they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

Have a good week.

Thoughts and prayers.

Blessings, The Deacons
